The place
Dug in the 19th century on nearly one hectare and exploited to extract chalk, the quarries were also used to grow button mushrooms, before housing the barrels of breweries in the Paris region. Its ogival vaults were 4 to 6 metres high and by interweaving the galleries, they provided optimal storage conditions for many bottles of wine and champagne.
Today, the Carrières are entirely dedicated to wine storage, with nearly 180 private wine cellars for rent, housing more than a million bottles!
Unusual and grandiose, the Carrières offer a particularly original space for receptions of 50 to 1000 people, ideal of course for estate wine tastings.
The majestic galleries decorated with murals intertwine with new LED light effects.
The modular space can accommodate from 50 to 600 people for seated meals, up to 1,000 people for cocktails, but also for conferences up to 300 people.
Numerous configurations are possible, allowing you to organise company parties, wine tastings or even product launches.
